A team of competitors from Denchi Kai Academy entered the KUGB Northern Regions and all of them performed extremely well, Sensei are proud of everyone who entered, performing karate in a competition takes a lot of confidence and courage, well done! The team is pictured below;

Jennifer Stokoe, Sam Bishop and Sensei Laura Smith achieved 4th place in their Team Kata category (pictured below);
Brett Billingham achieved 4th place in Children's Kata 4th - 1st Kyu (pictured below);
and finally Johny Grimes won the Children's Kata Novice - 4th Kyu category, coming home Northern Region Champion! Bringing back a trophy and a gold medal! Excellent, well done Johny! (pictured below);
