On Sunday 12th June 2011, Denchi Kai Academy entered the Sunderland Championsips and the University of Sunderland: Cityspace. The team of 24 students all performed extremely well and Denchi Kai Academy had a very good day. The team is pictured below with their certificates and trophies;
