The grading was a huge success. 78 students graded and did extrememly well, 
Senseis are very proud of you all!

 

Two students in particular were outstanding;

Gregg Watson,DOUBLE GRADEDMissing out orange and went from white belt straight to red belt (8th Kyu). Well done Gregg, excellent!

John Preston,TRIPLE GRADEDMissing out orange AND red and went straight from white to yellow belt (7th Kyu). This is the first time in the history of Denchi Kai Academy that anyone has ever triple graded. Fantastic! Well done John.

The progress awards were presented as usual by Sensei on the day of the grading. The following students recieved awards;

Kashi Do:

Most Improved - Daniel Windram
Best Overall - Sophie Collings

Denchi Kai:

Most Improved - Ross Billingham
Best Overall - Brett Billingham

We would also like to congratulate Sensei Laura Smith on passing her offical instructor qualification assessment on the day of the grading! Well done Sensei!

Thank you to Cramlington SKC for their support and also a big thank you to Sensei Neil Jerome who travelled a long distance to support our club on the day and trained alongside us, during the lesson! Thank you Sensei Neil!

The grading was a very good day and everyone should be very proud!
