Laura travelled to Dunfermline on Sunday 22nd March to take her Nidan (2nd Dan) Grading and passed with flying colours. The training and grading was held by Sensei Andy Sherry at Duloch Leisure Centre, Dunfermline, Scotland. Laura's performance was outstanding and did not go unnoticed. Congratulations Laura, very well deserved after months of dedicated training and hard work.
Laura is the first student to achieve Nidan since Denchi Kai Academy was formed in 2006. She was also the first person from Denchi Kai to win a medal at the National Championships in Birmingham, entering the childrens Kata when she was only a 7th Kyu (yellow belt) and taking a bronze medal in 2004.
